Good Folks:
As you no doubt know, the political season is upon us and the campaigns have started. I want to thank all of you who supported us last time, but unfortunately our work's not done: if we lose this election we could still end up with the gravel mines and overdevelopment we fought so hard against then.
 
So, I'm writing to ask for your financial support to finish the job. The money goes for printing and mailing costs, signs and, if needed, advertising. Although Milan does not have a large population the costs add up quickly: a single mailing costs several hundred dollars. But all this is needed to spread Team Talmage's message: that we're the better team
       
         * to protect Milan's future, whether against industrial gravel mines, misplaced town centers, or overdevelopment in general;
         * at controlling spending, holding taxes low, and running the Town efficiently;
         * for openness and honesty in government.

We want to set a positive tone for government, we want to implement the best plans and tools for Milan, and we support community activities that bring our town together.
